For the purposes of the mental health facilities return, patients participating in education provided by or with the co-operation of the local education authority on the last full working day of the period covered by the return, including those on home leave, are categorised according to their place of education.
Each patient should be counted once only, the order of priority being:
For patients under 19 years of age:
