Cancer Imaging modality

To estimate the level of accuracy of the diagnosis and staging when accounting for casemix and outcome analysis. Required for the use of the Multi Disciplinary Meeting (MDM) module.

The types of investigations performed to diagnose and stage the patient.

Permissible values may be cross mapped to current versions of the Office of Population, Censuses and Surveys Classification of Surgical Operations and Procedures (OPCS) of interventions and procedures, the National Interim Clinical Imaging Procedure (NICIP) codes and the Systemised Nomenclature of Medicine Clinical Terms (SNOMED CT) where appropriate.

*Permissible values will be dependent upon the output specifications.
