Procedures are those carried out on patients undergoing treatment:

For the prevention, diagnosis, care or relief of disease. |

For the correction of deformity or deficit, including those performed for cosmetic reasons. |

c) |
Associated with pregnancy, childbirth or procreative management. |
They can be assigned a unique code (or codes) using the OPCS Classification of Interventions and Procedures 4th Revision.
