The term resident is used in two different ways:
a) |
To refer to any person whose usual place of residence lies within the relevant administrative boundary. e.g. A resident is any person who, on the last day of the relevant financial year, lives within the administrative boundary of the LHB regardless of where that person may have been immunised or normally be treated. |
b) |
To refer to any person residing i.e. normally occupying a bed at a particular site e.g. a hospital or a nursing home at a certain date. |
