Scope

The QueSt 1 (QS1) return collects aggregate data on patient throughput and bed utilisation at NHS hospitals, clinics and units in Wales.

The scope of the data collection was amended as per DSCN 2013 / 02 (Amd) with effect from 31^st January 2013. This change mandated the cessation for inpatient and outpatient activity. The collection of data for bed availability and occupation, as well as for out-patient clinics continues.
