This is a single specialty laboratory or section on a specific site.

Notes:

1.  A single specialty pathology department may have laboratories on one or more sites; each should be counted as a separate specialty location.

2.  A multi-specialty department may comprise a number of single specialty sections or laboratories on a number of sites; each section or laboratory should be counted as a separate specialty location.

3.  A general pathology department may comprise a number of single specialty sections or laboratories on a number of sites; each should be counted as a separate specialty location.
